CASE 17

CASE 16

Extraction and immediate placement of implant and using growth factors from the patient and bone graft to fill up any possible gap. The gum grows around the implant and after 4 months the final crown is cemented. Treatment performed by brothers Drs. Oliva in Barcelona, Spain. www.CeraRootclinic.com. #implantedental#dentalimplant#allceramic#holistic#keramikimplantat#zirconia

CASE 15

Immediate extraction of 4 upper incisors. There was a very large defect on the upper right central. the whole buccal plate was missing. PRG was performed and the implants were placed into the sockets. We did not raised a flap and we placed the implants using the “Crocantie Oliva Technique”. The implants were left with Growth Factors from the patient for 20 minutes and bone graft. When the implants and the bone particles were bonded together with the help of the growth factors, the implants were screwed into the bone. The case has been really successful and the cone beam shows bone on the buccal aspect of all the implants. If we had raised a flap we would probably had suffered more recession on the upper right central.

The video of the surgery can be seen here --

CASE 14

Immediate extraction of two upper central incisors. At the apical portion of the roots there was a chronic infection that was cleaned at the same time. The area was grafted and immediate implants were placed. After 4 months we took impressions and made two all-ceramic crowns (zirconia) that were permanently cemented to the patient.

To take impressions we used the impression copings called CeraCrowns and the lab analogues. Instead of using retraction cord, this process seems to preserve better the gum and avoid having recessions. In the anterior zone we don’t recommend the use of the laser or the electrosurge as it can be difficult to predict the healing heigh of the gum.

CASE 13

A CeraRoot 21 - 12mm was placed on the upper right central incisor. Some bone graft particles were added on the buccal aspect to give more volume to the gum and achieve better esthetic outcome and more natural appearance. An All ceramic crown was cemented about 4-5 months after the implant was healed. The patient is very happy.

CASE 12

The patient had a root canal treatment on the tooth, with an internal metal post, that made the root darker due to the corrosion and oxidation of the metal. There was also a gum recession on the tooth that made a non pleasant smile. With the tooth and root out, the implant was placed on the same day and the healing after 4 months with the all-ceramic has made the patient very happy.

CASE 11

Extraction of upper left central incisor, and immediate placement of a CeraRoot 21 zirconia implant. Bone graft and soft tissue graft was done simultaneously. The root of the tooth, had a previous root canal treatment done, and was in very bad condition. Without the toxicity of the root, the mouth is much healthier now.

CASE 10

Extraction of upper left central and lateral incisor. Immediate placement with the help of an essix appliance to identify where the incisal edge is for correct implant alignment. The all-ceramic crowns are finished 4 months post surgery.

CASE 9

Extraction of upper 4 incisors that were affected with apical infections. Immediate placement of 2 implants in upper centrals sockets. After 3 months we deliver a temporary bridge that the patient wears for 4 months. After 8 months of surgery, a zirconia 4-unit bridge is placed on top of 2 CeraRoot 21 implants. The patient is very satisfied not having anymore infections and grey color gums.

CASE 8

Extraction of 2 roots (central and lateral incisor). Immediate placement of CeraRoot 21 in the central incisor socket and CeraRoot 12 in the lateral incisor socket. The patient had a non-erupted permanent canine inside the bone that did not want to orthodontic treatment to place it into the dental arch. The overall esthetics is highly accepted by the patient.
